Radius Based Hotspot Management

RadSpot is a PHP based application that was developed using the FreeRadius for Linux combined with MySql.
Radspot manages user authentication for internet access via a web browser. Users accessing the internet via your network, are trapped prior to accessing the Internet. A configurable page is displayed with instructions presented for the user.
The user can either buy internet access directly using a Credit card or can enter a voucher number and password from the hotel reception which can provide him/her the access required.
A postpay process is also available, regestered by room number, allowing the user to use as much internet traffic as required on demand. Once the user checks out of the room, the hotel management can extract a usage report and add the total to the final invoice.
 
RadSpot can be tailor made to suit your requirements. The RadSpot hardware is also self configurable and very straight forward to install. Whether you have an existing wireless/internet infrastructure, or whether you want to set one up for the first time, the equipment can be configured accordingly.
 
There are 2 main units available, however these can be designed for more specific requirements. For temperorory or more immediate on demand installations, there is a model that caters for a 3G card installation.
 
With the Radspot management software, you can design your own access restrictions and products for selection by your clients.
 
The RadSpot software can be configured to use a single central Radius management package, providing a single authentication platform accross the country. This means that once you have provided users with a login, that user can use the same login at any of your stations. This is particularly usefull for franchise groups to provide access for regular clients and patrons.
